Barb Danson retired from the medical device industry on 10/10/23, the 35th anniversary of her first day on the job at Helix BioCore (later known as ATS Medical). She also worked at Vascular Solutions, Atritech, and as an independent consultant. 

An avid reader and life-long learner, Barb is passionate about wholistic health practices and strengthening her connection with nature. She loves to hike and forage for wild edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms, and she enjoys crafting her foraged treasures into tasty foods, beverages, tinctures, lotions, and potions.
